Tijana Petrovic is Croatian artist based in London and a Central Saint Martins MA Fine Art graduate working with the media of painting and sculpture. She explores the themes of inhibitions, vulnerabilities and complex emotional states such as nostalgia with an aim to cope with the anxieties related to everyday life. She wants to turn the negative or mundane into something positive, and break the boundaries of the uncomfortable by enabling discussion on difficult topics in light-hearted way.

Tijana's figurative and meticulous works are a contemporary response to the Surrealism. The scenes she depicts are both familiar and unfamiliar since she combines real-life motifs in uncommon ways. Therefore, she challenges the viewers' perceptions and encourages them to see things differently.

Tijana's works are a part of private collections in the UK, Republic of China, and Croatia.
